This is an 11-week class that covers the basic storyline of the Bible.
The philosopher Alasdair MacIntyre said, “I can only answer the question, ‘What am I to do?’ if I can answer the prior question, ‘Of what story ... do I find myself a part?’” As Christians, we must understand the story that the Bible teaches that we all are part of because that story reorients the way we think and live. The goal of this class is to help you understand and explain the storyline of the Bible to help you live in light of the true story of the world in your daily life.
This class will involve personal study and homework in preparation for weekly discussion and teaching times. We will be using the book Christ from Beginning to End by Trent Hunter and Stephen Wellum to guide our study and discussion.
There is very limited space in this class, so please do not sign up unless you are committed to doing the homework and participating in the discussion times. Please do not sacrifice your participation in your Discipleship Community to take this class.
We are not planning on providing childcare for this class, but please let us know if that would keep you from being able to participate.
